D'Ieteren Sport is the importer of the e-Solex in the Benelux countries and is part of the D'Ieteren Group, which was established in 1805 and is now a highly regarded listed company in Belgium. The e-Solex is an environmentally friendly, modern version of the famous Solex that was produced in the years immediately following the Second World War. This Solex has undergone a complete metamorphosis. The no-noise e-Solex is powered by an electric motor and was styled by the Italian designer Pininfarina. This moped combines economy, ecology and aesthetics. In a time of increasing environmental awareness, crowded cities and high energy costs, the e-Solex is an elegant, fast and clean alternative.

Result
As a result of the press presentation, MCPR generated a great deal of free publicity for the e-Solex. This resulted, among other things, in a television item on the current affairs programme Hart van Nederland (SBS6), several radio interviews on regional and national radio stations (including Qmusic), coverage in major Dutch newspapers (including De Telegraaf and Algemeen Dagblad) and a host of mentions on online news sites (including NU.nl).
